Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel Profile
If you are looking for an alternative to a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or Cocker Spaniel, you may be interested in the Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel “designer” dog breed. This spaniel hybrid is usually smaller than a Cocker and a bit sparser in coat.
I have been hanging out recently with a King Charles/Cocker hybrid. She loves kids, prefers to be with her people over playing with other dogs and tries extremely hard to please. Her owners say she was a bit mouthy as a puppy, but outgrew it pretty fast. Despite her desire to make her family happy, she is a tad stubborn and potty training was a bit of an effort – if it rained, she was more concerned about melting than about having accidents in the house. It did finally take, though and she is very quick to learn other things.
I was just wondering if you happened to have any pictures of this cavalier cocker when he/she was a puppy. Earlier this week my dog, Lady, passed away. She was full grown when I got her from the humane society, so I never knew what type of dog she was or exactly how old she was The vet says that she was probably about six when I got her. If this is accurate, then she lived until she was about 12. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the picture, because she looks EXACTLY like your picture. She was such a beautiful and sweet dog, and she fit your description to a tee. She hated to use the doggy door when it was raining! I loved her sooooo much, and I really miss her! If you have any puppy pictures, I’d love to see them. I’d be happy to send you any pictures you like of Lady.

My dog that I adopted from the SPCA 3 or 4 years ago looks exactly like this dog pictured! The SPCA said he was some sort of a spaniel mix. I have been dying to know what he was breed with. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect dog.

I saw this picture and thought someone had taken a picture of my dog off flickr. LOL She looks exactly like mine. Mine is somewhere about 2 years old. I also rescued “Buffy”, from a animal shelter when she was about 1. You described mine to the letter. She absolutely LOVES, LOVES Kids. She also doesn’t really like the rain or going to the lake. She definitely has a mind of her own, and thinks she is the ruler of the neighborhood. She loves other dogs, but doesn’t know how to make a good first impression. She barks and runs around like she is gonna kill. Once she is with another dog, they play and she is so submissive. She loves her belly rubbed and lays with her legs up in the air all the time. It’s so adorable. I Love her so much.
