Take a look at the looong nose and big brown eyes on this little dog and you’ll know why he was my choice for this week’s Silly Dog Sunday. He seems to be a bit disgusted by the whole picture taking process. Another second and he’ll be rolling his eyes!

Moving can be a bit overwhelming for people and they know exactly what is going on. For the family dog, a move can be downright scary. To help your dog adjust to all the changes, you should:
* Be sure to take familiar toys, beds and dishes to the new home. This is not the right time to get new things for your pet.
* Use a crate to transport your pet to the new location safely. Leave the crate set up in case your dog wants to hide in its “cave” until it adjusts a bit to the move.
* Never let your dog into an unfenced area without a leash, even if it is usually good about running out into the yard and then right back into the house without straying.

This adorable terrier was caught being quite happy by Simply Tuesday Photography. Can’t you just see the thought bubble over his head?
“Mom said bone, didn’t she? Oooh, I bet it’s one of those really good ones that are basted in real meat juice.”
Does your dog smile? Our Lily does ear to ear grins for her favorite person, but I have yet to catch it on camera, because it is combined with running laps and bouncing like a rubber ball!
